You want fun gadgets, bombs for PvP, and a Repair Bot for your group.
Tip: Engineering is the most gold-hungry profession to level; budget for it or skip it early.
Pairs well with
Mining. Taking a gathering skill with the crafting skill it feeds keeps you self-sufficient and cheaper to level.
