Symptoms
- Download stalls partway through the install.
- Install button does nothing.
- Repeated "scan and repair" loops.

How to confirm / reproduce
- Check free disk space — Forever installs alongside Classic and Retail, not over them.
- Run Scan and Repair from the launcher before any manual deletion.
- Confirm the launcher is up to date; entitlement and install buttons depend on it.
Official guidance
Blizzard states Forever coexists with WoW Classic and Vanilla rather than replacing either, so expect a separate install footprint.
Community workaround (not official)
Non-official: closing background bandwidth-heavy apps can help a stalled download. Avoid manually deleting game folders unless support instructs it.
